The CTS-EMC Test Technology Solution, developed by the Shanghai Electric Cable Research Institute (SECRI), is a comprehensive testing system for evaluating the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) performance of communication cables, cable assemblies, road vehicle cables, screened cables, and control cables. The system provides specialized test methods and equipment that comply with major international and national EMC standards and can be customized to meet specific customer testing requirements.

The solution measures key EMC parameters such as transfer impedance, screening attenuation, coupling attenuation, and unbalanced attenuation, enabling accurate assessment of cable shielding effectiveness and electromagnetic performance. It supports a variety of testing methods, including triaxial tube, triaxial open tube, tube-in-tube, balanced signal injection, 6+1 alien crosstalk, and field receiving methods, with test frequencies ranging from 1 MHz to 3000 MHz depending on the measurement method.

The system is suitable for testing screened communication cables and assemblies, balanced LAN cables, road vehicle cables, connectors, and control cable assemblies. It complies with recognized standards including IEC 62153-4, EN 50289, GB/T 17737, GB/T 18015, GB/T 31723.405, GB/T 25087 / ISO 14572, and QC/T 1037.
